Outstanding!!!

Having had all of my upper teeth removed after a failed $9000+ implant bridge, and suffering through 6 months of a full upper removable denture - which worked ok (only if I didn't try to eat, LOL!), I was determined to get a full permanent upper (maxillary) implant arch. 

But being 82 years old and on a fixed income (SSI and Vet Benefits) and not wanting to throw away limited funds, I did a lot of research as to my options and visited different implant specialists. 

In my research, I learned that often dentists recommend implants with removable "snappers" to reduce the initial cost. But they require removal at night and the plastic that holds them in place may have to be replaces every 6 months, resulting in continuing cost.

I decided that a permanent implant arch is what I wanted have done. For the strongest bond, I wanted to get the 6 implants ("All-in-6") for greater bite force distributed more evenly and with a higher implant survival rates. But I was also concerned about my bone density due to my age (which caused the previous implant bridge failure) and implants encroaching on my sinus cavities.

I’m grateful that every trip to see Dr. Kafayi and Daisy, my hygienist, is a pleasure. The office is immaculate, location convenient, and all the staff are very kind and good at their specialties. I’ve been going to this office for over 14 years and a few referred friends who are also very satisfied clients. I primarily need cleanings, but when I did have a more involved dental procedure, they used state of the art mapping and 3D printing technology and it went exactly as planned. Dr. Kafayi has been my dentist for over 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, competent, and kind. He has made all of my dental procedures (from simple fillings to porcelain crowns) painless. He has an excellent bedside manner and uses the best dental technologies available. His staff, including Daisy, Serguei, and Tanisha, are all very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Kafayi to anyone looking for an outstanding dentist.

Hands down the best experience I ever had in a dental office during my appointment. First of all Dr Kafayi Is a very kind, soft spoken with great bedside manner dental expert. Dr. Kafayi earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1994. He currently serves as a part-time faculty member at the University of the Pacific, helping train the next generation of dentists. His staff worked with my insurance to get the best in network prices for the procedures that was done. He continually invests in state-of-the-art technology to ensure his patients receive the very best in modern dental care. I had an implant done with the help of a robot in his office in a matter of few minutes without any pain or discomfort. Today, the next day even last night I felt no pain or discomfort. I’m only taking Advil for inflammation and prescription antibiotics. I also had 3 fillings and preps done to get them ready for 3 crowns all done at one visit using some cutting edge devices that I have never seen or heard of before. I was ju

After having 2nd thoughts of seeing a new dentist after 20 years with the same dentist I am beyond grateful that I made the right decision to move forward in my treatment with Dr. Kafayi. His experience and expertise are reassuring that he wants to give you the best smile and solution ever!!
